The Gift of Salvation
The greatest gift I have ever received has not been anything that even the largest basket could contain. The amazing part is that although this gift is worth the greatest value, it is free of charge! (No coupons needed!)
Jesus Christ, my Lord & Savior has changed my life completely! Although I was taught from “little-on-up” who Jesus is and the importance of following Him, it wasn’t until later in life that I actually experienced His incredible love in personal ways. He has brought me through some really difficult places including health issues, anxiety/depression, feelings of rejection, & loneliness. He has given me an indescribable joy that can only be found in Him!
Do you know Jesus? If not, let me introduce you!
Do you ever wonder what your purpose is in life? Why you are placed here on earth? I can assure you that you are not here by chance and have an incredible Creator who made you fearfully and wonderfully in His image! (Psalm 139:14)
We have been born into this world as sinners with sinful natures and are desperately in need of a Savior…without Christ, we have no hope of redemption and will spend eternity in hell. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
But Jesus came to this earth to pay the price for our sins and offer us the gift of salvation! He died for our sins so that we can live eternally with Him in heaven! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
This gift is not something we can earn by “doing good deeds” but is only given to those who recognize their sin, repent and ask Christ to cleanse them from all their sins, and claim Jesus Christ as Lord! “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!” Acts 16:31
Jesus wants YOU to be a part of His kingdom! As His followers, we are here to proclaim the gospel to everyone! He is coming back again some day soon and will take His children home to live forever with Him in heaven. I am longing for the day when I can see my Savior and live with Him eternally! What an incredible day that will be!!!
